Example Of Persuasive Speech

If you've ever watched a politician talk or listened to the radio when they are all riled up about something, then you've heard a persuasive speech. While most of them are well thought out in advance, there are a few sudden and unprompted ones that might happen along the way throughout the day. If you are in college or high school and are taking or have taken public speaking or the usual similar class depending on the college, then you might have a better understanding of what to look for. Keeping your eye out for persuasive speeches throughout your days will make it easier for you to eventually give one, as well as allowing you to recognize them easily.
The best thing about a persuasive speech is that you can get a variety of ideas for topics completely for free. It's easy to make your own practice speeches. In fact, it might not even be worth explaining how to make it just because it's so personalized. While it does follow a general outline for writing, what you're writing about and how you choose to write it are very personal and important things. Some people write speeches that are more motivational in nature while others write ones that are informative but both of these are still persuasive speeches.

A good example of persuasive speech is one on organ donation. That's a nice, easy topic with a lot of information that's easy to pull from. You can write it in either letter or essay format and the debate is quite famous, or at least it was at one time. All your really need to write a great speech is something that you're passionate about and that you wouldn't mind telling other people about that passion in order to further explain to them what your speeches are in their entirety.

In truth, a perfect example of persuasive speech is Martin Luther King Jr.'s 'I Had a Dream' speech in which he persuades everyone to listen to him about what should be done, why it should be done, and how it would be best to go about doing this thing. It's an incredibly important part of history in both speech formats and due to what it, and he, meant to history.
